Charles E. Alexander Transportation Engineering Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students who are juniors or seniors and are currently attending a civil engineering program at the University of Alabama, University of Alabama at Birmingham or the Auburn University and pursue a career in transportation engineering.   Students must demonstrate a financial need and have recommendation letters from their professors or Alsite affiliates. read more

The Alabama Student Assistance Program

The State of Alabama has a number of state sponsored scholarships and financial aid programs to help students who are in need.  The student assistance program offers $300 to $2,500 per year to students who are interested in purusing 4 year college education.  Similarly there is assitance for students witha blind parent called  Alabama Scholarship for Dependents of Blind Parents .  There are several other scholarships and grants available for the children of national guard, police officers, firefighters and tearchers who are atteding a college in Alabama.  You can learn more about these scholarship opportunities by visiting here

ACHE Senior Adult Scholarships Alabama Commission on Higher Education offers an undergraduate scholarship to Senior Citizens who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree. ACHE / American Legion Auxiliary Scholarships The veterans of World War I, World War II, Korea, or Vietnam and their sons, daughters and grandchildren are qualified for this scholarship by Alabama Commission on Higher Education. Varies April 1st Montgomery

Smith Scholarship Program The Smith Scholarship Foundation is designed to fund college scholarships with preference to applicants who would be the first in family to attend college.
